The Problem
The owner wanted to stop the twice-yearly clean-out but did not need premium micro-mesh — there are no conifers on the lot.
What We Did
We specified perforated aluminum panels, which handle leaves and seeds well at a lower cost per foot, cleaned and flushed the gutters, and fitted the panels along the two elevations that collect the debris.
- Clean-out of both affected elevations
- 64 ft of perforated aluminum guard
- Downspout outlets enlarged
- Written recommendation for the remaining runs
The Result
Overflow eliminated at a fraction of the micro-mesh price, with the option to upgrade the remaining runs later.
