The Problem
The homeowner was cleaning gutters three times a year and still had overflow at the front entry every time a storm came through. The fir canopy over the back of the house dropped needles continuously, and the existing gutters were sound but permanently full.
What We Did
We hand-cleaned and flushed the full system, re-set four hangers that had pulled away from the fascia, then cut and fitted stainless micro-mesh panels along every run including the dormer returns. Splash diverters were added at the two roof valleys feeding the front elevation.
- Full hand clean-out and downspout flush
- Four hangers replaced, front run re-pitched
- 148 ft of stainless micro-mesh guard installed
- Valley splash diverters at two locations
The Result
The system has been through two winters without a clean-out. The homeowner's only maintenance is rinsing the mesh surface once a year from the ground.
